I LURV it! Got it from an elderly couple who recently cleared out the mother in laws home in Missouri...It was a total bargain. Now, I'm not gonna go through all the painting steps ONE.BY.ONE. Because, if your lookin' for a tutorial ..just visit my other posts. BUT I do wanna give a huge shout out toRestore-A-Finish! This stuff ROCKED IT OUT! Seeing as how the wood was in very good shape and I liked the finish on it ..I didn't want to strip and sand the whole thing down. So, I used this stuff to just wipe it down basically and it worked like a friggin' charm! Just like it says on the bottle! I Highly, highly recommend it!
Here is just a small test strip at the back rubbed in...Look how it brought the depth of the wood out! Lub it!
I painted the dresser in a turquoisey "Provence" ASCP mash up color and dark waxed it to HELL and back!I used a top secret prototype wax brush from my kick a$$ stockist and buddy Debbie, from Round the Coop, and I think she came out GREAT! Luv Luv LUV this one!
