"Dirty Donna!"

Meet my newest "Dirty Girl" Donna....

I had this poor thing collecting dust in my entry way for about a year now..

Not because I didnt WANT to paint her...She just hadn't told me the color yet! My knee jerk is TURQUOISE but hell, If I keep painting EVERYTHING turquoise..they're gonna have to call me "Turoquoise LOCO"'N-T, Who..I decided to go with white..

And I liked her with this "Moderate"distressing, but.....

Once I got that sander in my hot little hand I couldn't STOP, something took over me! That distressing felt so RIGHT! Now! It wouldn't be a Shabby Loco Original if I didn;t have SOME turquoise in there?! Duh...So, I dry brushed some here and there for depth and contrast ;)

Long story short, I whacked her, smacked her and stripped her down..and I lub it! Hope you do too..

Now, How am I going to sell this one..Ugh! #Painterchickproblems

Antique English Buffet

A GORGEOUS, Antique Buffet. Made in the Early 1900’s by the L.Kreiss & Sons Furniture Company of San Francisco.  This is a 16th century reproduction English Buffet made from a heavy dark Oak. Beautiful carvings and original wooden, and iron pulls. Strong, stretcher base with tons of wear, charm and distressed areas. I have refinished this piece in a Soft, Charcoal black chalk paint and sealed by hand with a dark wax for added protection and a beautiful velvety Luster! Truly a rare find…Would be a wonderful conversation piece for ANYWHERE in your home. Dimensions are 41x41x21.
